FTE .6 / 24 hours per week; Every third weekendand holiday rotation Watertown Regional Medical Center has a part timeopportunity on the night shift for a Patient Care Partner (PCP). Thiscan be filled by a CNA, LPN or EMT. The Patient Care Partner isresponsible for assisting with nursing care of the patient, within anassigned patient care unit. Working under the direction of the physicianand/or RN, the PCP provides a variety of patient care, environmental andequipment related services including but not limited to: assisting withpatient care, including observing and documenting illness and/or injury,patient room restocking and maintaining equipment. Patient careresponsibilities include: IV initiation and removal, Cardiac monitoringand EKGs, Laboratory draws, Basic Medication administration withappropriate licensure, Order entry, Assist with treatment and managementof patients, Performs other duties as assigned: i.e.) Foley catheterinsertion; patient transport; wound cleansing, etc. Will workcollaboratively as a part of a patient focused team to provide excellentcare and services.
