Job Description:

　　Become part of Essentia’s accomplished team in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, where 465 lakes provide endless options for water sports and recreation. These cities, 125 miles north of Minneapolis, are at the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area, one of the state’s top vacation destinations. Brainerd-Baxter is home to 65,000 year-round residents and is located in one of the fastest growing counties in the state. As a CMA/LPN in Orthopedics, you will assist RNs, Physicians and other providers. You will provide direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. You will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. The cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts)

　　Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.

　　The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
