Our enterprise, widely recognized client is seeking to hire a Enterprise Cloud Software Architect on a newly formed team that has responsibilities for their enterprise application environment. These applications are mission-critical systems that generate a lot of the company's revenue. They are responsible for designing, developing and documenting technical solution architecture and inspiring software architecture. This person should have strong knowledge about AWS, cloud first, cloud native software development. In this role you will be focused over 80% of the time on design and architecture and less than 10% with hands on technical development work. This person will participate in leading code reviews, grooming and demos. You will not be responsible for direct reports but will have influence across all application development teams in building system level designs. The ideal candidate would have strong documentation skills as it pertains to design diagrams, system level architecture, swim lanes, process flow diagrams etc. In order to be successful you must be a effective communicator, able to work collaboratively across multiple technical teams and other architect over areas such as database and native, etc. If you are looking to join a growing team and organization where you will have enterprise architecture influence this role is for you.

　　Required Skills:

　　Must have at least 10 years experience as a Software Engineer with the most recent 5 years as a Software, Enterprise, Solution or Cloud Architect focused on enterprise software architecture design

　　Expert level knowledge in the best practices surrounding software design/architecture, implementation, and support of enterprise, web software applications

　　Candidate must have experience with software migration from on premise to the cloud

　　Experience designing cloud native applications

　　Excellent written/verbal communication skills

　　Experience presenting complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences

　　Can demonstrate experience working on highly complicated, software designs for systems that transact a high volume of transactions

　　Agile software development methodology best practices

　　Proven experience designing design diagrams, system level documentation, swim lane diagrams, process flow maps, roadmaps and other strategic documentation

　　Bachelor's Degree

　　Experience with Jira or similar development tools

　　Strong ability to ask the right questions and gather requirements for end users to ensure best possible software design

　　Thorough understanding of software development best practices and procedures including CI/CD, DevOps, etc.

　　Desired Skills:

　　Priority consideration to candidates who have expertise with AWS architecture but will consider someone with Google GCP or Azure possibly

　　Ideal candidate has a development background with Java, JavaScript and MySQL

　　Huge plus-AWS certified

　　Experience designing serverless technology solutions and/experience around best practices of containerization
