Our work depends on a Cloud Security Engineer Senior Advisor joining our team to support the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Federally Facilitated Exchange (FFE) . This role will be worked remotely.

  HOW A CLOUD SECURITY ENGINEER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  You will collect business and technical security requirements to meet project goals (functional, non-functional) by collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will analyze, design, recommend, strategy-timeline plan, and document Security Architecture solutions across the FFE FISMA systems infrastructure within the CMS Marketplace. You will also assist with the design and development of Security POCs – doing hands lifecycle development. You will create content and assist with security controls and solutions process integration delivery and support (cross-teams alignment, knowledge transfer, and communications).

  WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree and 8+ years of experience or equivalent years of experience

  Established residency in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years.

  Cloud Security Architecture design and delivery on AWS

  Must have experience with Proof of Concepts and be able to discuss examples

  Must have experience leading Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) meetings

  Cloud Security Architecture Design, Planning, and Delivery: Advanced

  AWS Security Architecture: Advanced

  Scripting/Development (Python/Java): Intermediate

  Experience in discovering, analyzing, and applying Zero Trust concepts to reduce risk by maturing security post across pillars and their functional use cases

  Security, Infrastructure, Operations, and Development workloads process discovery, analysis, automation, and support background

  CSP solutions design and development (hands-on)

  NIST 800-53 compliance and supporting standards knowledge

  CISA Zero Trust knowledge

  Security: Advanced

  Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

  Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

  Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust

  NICE TO HAVE:

  Knowledge of security vendors and security product capabilities

  Exposure to Governance, Risk and Compliance tools and platforms

  2 or more recognized security certifications
