Description Nexus-East Bethel Family Healing is looking to add a Clinical Supervisor to join our BRAND NEW psychiatric residential treatment facility! Position Summary: Our Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing trauma-informed supervision that drives client and family driven care through the oversight of program staff and daily operations to include a therapeutic milieu, effective leadership, and communication, organization, and planning. Primary responsibilities: Treatment Planning & Service Delivery Creates and drives a trauma-informed environment; ultimately responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive treatment culture and making necessary changes Makes daily decisions, problem-solves, and provides on-hands direction of all milieu staff as needed Reviews and assesses all treatment plans for individualized and strength-based programming Monitors and facilitates the development of staff skills and knowledge regarding youth issues, individual youth treatment plans, restorative practices, and the preparation and maintenance of client files and documentation Identifies, and analyzes potential or current problems or risk factors on the program and generates alternative sound decisions Contributes to the creation and implantation of the organization and agency vision and strategic initiatives; guides staff in tracking and implementing strategic endeavors Collaborates with direct supervisor in evaluating long-term changes that support the therapeutic treatment process Ensures staff and program preparedness regarding client intake, safety planning, treatment needs, areas of focus on youth Individual and Family Guidance Plans Program Strategy In coordination with CQI, reviews program data and looks for client and program trends, risk, and compliance areas Maintains accountability and oversight of treatment processes, clinical team, and program; may provide direct individual, family, and group therapies to clients when applicable Facilitates the engagement, collaboration, and concerns of youths' families Leads clinical trainings and understands the training needs of the team Attends and ensures professional rapport with internal and external stakeholders and care providers Facilitates weekly staff meetings to incorporate ongoing and regular review of milieu functioning, client, and programming needs Supervises and participates in the interviewing and hiring process; orients, mentors, trains, and develops staff with organizational and licensing guidelines Provides performance management for staff on an ongoing basis; conducts formal performance evaluations Program Policy, Procedure and Compliance Ensures that all required client reports, records, and all documentation is produced accurately and maintained in a consistent, timely and professional manner; signs off on treatment documentation as needed Collaborates with direct supervisor regarding any investigations Remains current on all company policies, assigned trainings and/or certification requirements Required Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Social Services, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or clinically related field required Experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience required Valid MN driver's license required.
