About the position
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking anorganized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve asClinical Services Coordinator. Under administrative direction, thisposition will develop and manage a variety of consultation programs andservices for special populations throughout the region and will consultwith and provide leadership within the region and local communities inthe application of health care, mental health, special education,substance abuse, physical abuse and child development to public childwelfare entities. The position will serve as regional consultant in theareas of clinical practice, assessment, service planning and psychiatrichospital discharge planning, treatment, and decision making. Theposition will also complete high profile case reviews and arrange forspecial reviews by specialty service providers. Job Responsibilities
Develops and manages a variety of consultation programs and services forspecial populations throughout the region.
Completes high profile case reviews.
Implements specialty programs for the severely emotionally disturbed(SED) population in the region, providing coordination of theDepartment\'s SED programs.
Serves as a working Supervisor.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonablywithin the scope of the duties enumerated above.
