  CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST FOR CENTER FOR STRESS, RESILIENCE AND PERSONAL GROWTH

  The Mount Sinai Center for Stress, Resilience and Personal Growth (CSRPG), a new highly dynamic and innovative clinical service within the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is seeking a New York State licensed clinical psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to join the program as a faculty member. The mission of the Center for Stress, Resilience and Personal Growth is to support the resilience and psychological health of all Mount Sinai faculty, staff, trainees, and students. CSRPG offers resilience training, confidential consultations, a resilience building resource app, and a time-limited evidence-based treatment to all Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) workers. The candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to conduct mental health intakes and time-limited psychotherapy, facilitate resilience-building workshops, and to collaborate with the Clinical Director in providing supervision to other members of the clinical team.

  Applicants should have supervisory experience and aptitude in the delivery of evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders, including cognitive-behavioral therapy for depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The psychologist will work closely with other faculty members of the program and our team of licensed clinical social workers to deliver psychotherapeutic treatments within an outpatient faculty practice model, which integrates principles of measurement-based care. Bilingual Spanish-speaking applicants and those with a background in resilience interventions/research are strongly encouraged to apply.

  Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology

  Completion of APA-approved clinical pre-doctoral internship

  New York State psychology license

  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to work as a member of a team

  Excellent clinical skills in the assessment and evidence-based treatment of patients presenting to the CSRPG faculty practice

  Ability to manage responsibilities of documentation

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals/groups

  Understanding of best practices in diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy

  Compensation range from 120K to 140K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

  Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
