Job Overview
The Clinical Practice Specialist is a leader in advancing practice andexcellence, both within the nursing or behavioral health profession andwithin the context of collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, to improvepatient outcomes and systems of care. The position improves practice andpatient outcomes across the care continuum through implementation ofevidence-based care, consultation, research, education and establishingorganizational standards.Dynamic role focused on quality improvement and incorporation of evidencedbased practice that bridges both inpatient and outpatient care settings withinour nationally recognized Neurosciences Institute.

Qualifications
Education: Master of Science in Nursing if area of specialty is Nursing.Master of Arts or Master of Science in behavioral health related field if areaof specialty is Behavioral Health.Experience: 5 years clinical and pediatric experience.Certification(s):Advanced Life Support (ACLS, PALS) AND/OR other Certification(s)for specific roles may be required within 6 months of hireBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American HeartAssociationANCC or Magnet approved clinical specialty or quality/safety focuscertification required.Membership in a professional nursing, behavioral health or health careorganization.Licensure(s): Current Registered Nurse (RN) if area of specialty isNursing. State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)if area of specialty is Behavioral Health.
