Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a direct hire position at a cutting-edge client in Clarksville, IN. 　　Overview

　　This client is an industry-leading pharmaceutical company focused on infectious disease. In this role you’ll be working with interdisciplinary teams to handling all infectious disease testing in a laboratory setting. This role will give you an opportunity to process samples and report results to clients while helping deliver diagnostics and new therapies to patients and their families.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Preforming sample prep and DNA extraction as needed

　　Running the Firefly, Veriti, Accufill and QuantStudio 12K

　　Performing manual pipetting steps with small volumes into a 384 well plate and preparing solutions

　　Making our in-house collection devices

　　Reviewing and assisting protocol developments and adjustments

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor of Science or similar with necessary coursework for scientist duties

　　Basic understanding of the data and internal controls

　　Broad understanding of sterile technique and cleaning for a PCR lab

　　Minimum 1 year experience in a high complexity laboratory

　　Ability to work independently and strong attention to detail
