The Treatment & Detention Facility is a state-of-the-art secure residential treatment facility which provides a wide array of mental health services to over 500 detained and civilly committed adult sexual offenders.

Clinical services at the facility are provided by Liberty Healthcare’s dedicated and talented team which is comprised of over forty Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Professional Counselors, Psychiatrists and Recreation Therapists.

Interns engage in a two week orientation to the program and them a minimum of one week observing therapy groups before co-facilitating a group. In addition all groups that Interns are involved with are co-facilitated with a seasoned therapist throughout the year. Experience with sexual offenders is not necessary for being an Intern in our program. Further, experience with the Rorschach is preferred, but it is not necessary to be an Intern in our program. Please contact me (see below) if you have additional questions.
