We are seeking a Clinical Data Assistant 2 to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Valencia, CA.

　　As the Clinical Data Assistant 2, you will be responsible for various activities associated with receipt, storage, and shipment of clinical specimens. You will be guiding entry level staff on basic department procedures and serving as a point of contact for routine troubleshooting and resolution.

　　What you’ll be doing:

　　Accessioning, shipping, and storing samples, and problem resolution ensuring all samples are accurately identified, sorted, and labeled for testing and/or storage.

　　Responsible for freezer and inventory maintenance.

　　Identifying errors or the potential for problems and escalates to senior level staff.

　　Guiding entry level staff on basic department procedures and assist with on boarding of new staff.

　　Supporting and responding to after-hour alarms and/or other job critical functions.

　　Handling receipt of compounds and control material.

　　Notifying appropriate staff of supply shortages.

　　Responsible for clear, accurate, and timely communications with cross functional stakeholders

　　What We Are Looking For:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent Required.

　　Bachelor's Degree Some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require a BS in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology degree.

　　6 months of related experience Preferred.

　　Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

　　The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

　　Ability to stand on your feet for an extended amount of time and to lift up to 30 lbs. (50 lbs. for warehouse position)

　　Basic knowledge of internal systems and procedures and demonstrated ability to navigate and resolve routine challenges.

　　Good working knowledge of relevant procedures, and ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.

　　Basic computer skills.

　　The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $43,000.00 - $64,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
