　　RWJBH is seeking a Clinical Care Technician for 4 Tower - Post Intensive Care Unit I at our New Brunswick campus.

　　This is a Part-time, night position 11p-0730a; total 16 hours/week.

　　4 Tower- Post Intensive Care Unit-I is a busy 32 bed cardiac unit.

　　We see a range of telemetry, medical-surgical, and intermediate care patient acuities.

　　Types of patients we care for include post cardiac procedures, sepsis, dialysis, heart failure, and respiratory failure.

　　Requirements/Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or equivalent required.

　　American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR required.

　　Every other Friday and Saturday night requirement

　　Job Expectations/Role:

　　Taking vital signs: blood pressure, respiratory rate, temperature, blood sugars, and pulse oxygen

　　Performing delegated tasks received by Registered Nurse- RN

　　Performing daily patient wellness and hygiene care:

　　o Daily bathing

　　o Routine toileting

　　o Repositioning

　　o Ambulating

　　o Oral care

　　Feeding patients

　　Change bed linens

　　Setting up patient rooms for admissions

　　Phlebotomy: collecting labs

　　EKG

　　Answering call bell/patient needs

　　Education:

　　High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one year of hire.

　　Candidates who do not possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent will be provided the opportunity to enroll in a GED/HSEA program at time of hire as a condition of employment.

　　A hired candidate will be provided one year from date of hire to successfully complete a GED program and obtain their HSEA.
