  Your team responsibilities

  We are currently seeking an experienced Associate based in Monterrey, Mexico to join our MSCI Real Estate (RE) team as Client Service Associate. This position is best suited for a results-driven, self-starter with a strong work ethic and interest in the Real Estate Finance field. You will have a unique opportunity to work with a cross-functional global team, build professional connections, and learn the intricacies of the industry.

  The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our clients around the world. Team members are responsible for responding to a wide variety of methodology, product usage, research, interpretational, and technical questions on MSCI's Real Estate products.

  The Real Estate CS Associate will strive to become a product and type expert for the Americas Region. He/ she will work closely with coverage team to develop and maintain relationships and will be dedicated to specific accounts.

  Your key responsibilities

  Analysis for our Real Estate products to support the coverage team's commercial Activities Participate on designated recurrent projects for the Coverage organization Act as point of contact between clients, coverage and internal teams for routine inquiries and data requests. Provide daily ongoing support for any query related to our products and methodologies from our key Real Estate products, as well as internal queries from our coverage team. Perform ongoing training on RE tools such as RE platform, MSCI Client support site, and product/methodology changes. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the RE data processing within each team of the covered accounts Document RE team processes in an effort to standardize them as much as possible Maintain MSCI's Client support site.

  Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics. Excellent English communication skills are a must (verbal and written). 3-4 years' experience in Financial Services and/or Client Service. A self-starter and highly motivated, ability to work individually and within a team. Ability to articulate complicated concepts or methodologies verbally and in writing to senior management and clients. Track record of excelling in an environment of ambiguity by quickly adapting behavior and work methods to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities. Teamwork, ability to work efficiently with diverse cultures on a global team and knowing when to involve appropriate colleagues in projects regardless of function or location. Ability to develop value-added contributions to both internal and external clients.
