  As a Clerk Typist 2 in this capacity, you will perform a variety of clerical support tasks such as typing correspondence, electronic scanning/filing, answering the telephone, taking appointment calls, greeting visitors, and opening/sorting mail. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be entering client information into various state and county databases.  Computer skills and knowledge would be beneficial within this position.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, 1 day per week, upon successful completion of the probationary period.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Beaver Falls.

  Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or

  Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or

  Any combination of equivalent experience and training.

  Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Beaver County.  If no eligible candidates who live within Beaver County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
