  DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will utilize the Workers' Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS) to maintain a caseload, process tasks, and ensure the appropriate documents, transcripts, correspondence, and exhibits received are accessible within the system.  You will be responsible for scheduling hearings and providing general instructions to involved parties and stakeholders.  Ensure the court room is prepared, both in person and virtual, for the Judge prior to each hearing day by gathering and organizing related documents and case files, and placing them in the court room, if applicable.  Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be responding to general inquiries from the public, attorneys, media, law enforcement, and legislators in accordance with WCOA Policies and Procedures.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of a training period.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the Pittsburgh Office.

  QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or

  One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.
