Description:

　　We are seeking a Software Test Technician to join our team in Manassas, VA This person will play a key role in ensuring correct configuration for the Linux OS on one of the most important submarine technology programs in the US Navy. This systems is essentially the central nervous system of the Virginia and Columbia Class fleets.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Configuration of HW with the correct firmware/BIOS (25%)

　　Software Development tasking using Java or Linux Scripting (Bash, Ansible, Python, etc.).

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Associates Degree or higher in Computer Science or related

　　2+ years of experience using Red Hat Linux.

　　Experience with computer configuration and troubleshooting.

　　Experience following test plans for Linux OS testing (System Testing, BIOSing, etc.)

　　Eligible for Secret Clearance (ideal if Secret is active)

　　Desired Skills:

　　Experience programming in a modern computer language (for example, Java or Python).

　　Basic understanding of Software configuration management, Software Development Methodologies, and Full software life-cycle development

　　Academic or professional experience using MATLAB, Python, GitLab, SonarQube, Docker, Ansible, Virtualization (VMWare, etc.)

　　Academic or professional experience in Database design and development/computer system administration.
