Description:
• Inspects products for flaws through a microscope and report product our f spec to area lead or Supervisor.
• Reviews and follows work specifications.
• Sets up standard daily work.
• Tracks and inputs work order moves and product output into production move system.
• Work with or around ceramics, solvents, dust, and liquid and solid metals.
• Train and work where assigned and required pre and post kiln operations.
• Work effectively on individual job assignments or as a member of a team.
Press Spray Build up Departments
• Ensure all product lots coming into firing area have rapid cycle tickets where applicable.
• Perform job functions per training and work specifications as assigned.
• Place all product that requires bake out in proper ovens and bake out on proper profile.
• Bake out all spray dry powder reclaim as required.
• Place all product in proper kilns for firing and cure on proper profile.
• Maintain all appropriate logs and firing sheets for all bake out and firing runs.
• Cool and screen all product after firing and place in appropriate kanbans.
• Pull samples from all Discoidal lots for testing.
• Sort all necessary defects possible at all steps of the process before continuing to next step.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and logbook entries.
• Move all completed product to next process for production
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
