  POSITION TITLE: Cleanroom Assembler - Days

  Multiple and ongoing positions available due to growth.

  HOURLY PAY RANGE: $20.00 - $21.00

  SHIFT HOURS: 6:00AM - 2:30PM

  LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY

  CLEANROOM ASSEMBLER JOB SUMMARY:

  The Assembler is responsible for using a variety of tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment perform a series of operations to correctly assemble, test and/or package medical devices.

  CLEANROOM ASSEMBLER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  Level I

  Work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

  Assemble, test, and package medical devices and related products in accordance with documented work instructions and procedures.

  Maintain consistent quality and workmanship of the products you produce.

  Process paperwork accurately and neatly.

  Understand and comply with Quality System requirements.

  Complete assignments in a timely fashion, staying on task, minimize interruptions of work.

  Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.

  Adhere to all Company policies and procedures per the LSI Solutions Employee Manual.

  Report to work on time, including returning from breaks and lunch periods.

  Properly task in and out of work orders.

  Capable of searching and locating documents and work instructions in GAS.

  Level II

  Perform efficiently and effectively without continuous supervision.

  Directs team within production cells.

  Line clearance, allocation, reconcile, material request to ensure accurate inventory.

  Setup and print labels, pouches, and lidstock.

  Performing rework and inspection on product.

  Participate in developing standard work instructions; assist in training; and coaching.

  Level III

  Capable of covering all responsibilities for team leader as required.

  Troubleshoot process, equipment and product issues.

  CLEANROOM ASSEMBLER ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Level I & II

  Support all Lean initiatives.

  Assist team members.

  Be helpful and encouraging.

  Any other duties as assigned.

  Level III

  Lead KPI, 5S, and team meetings.

  CLEANROOM ASSEMBLER EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  Experience in a manufacturing environment necessary, Assembly experience preferred.

  Cleanroom experience is a plus.

  High School Diploma or GED.

  CLEANROOM ASSEMBLER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  Attention to detail and tasks being performed in order to identify potential changes and/or problems with the processes and products.

  Desire and demonstrated ability to produce 100% quality product all the time.

  Good hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  Able to follow verbal and written instructions and consistently demonstrate compliance.

  Asks questions when unclear of direction or instructions.

  Able to communicate with team members in a positive manner.

  Able to work independently as well as alongside team members.

  Able to inspect utilizing microscopes or magnifier lamps.

  Able to accurately input data and test results into electronic formats

  Basic computer literacy.

  CLEANROOM ASSEMBLER PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight hours per day.

  Frequently required to lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs.

  Regularly required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, and perform repetitive motion.

  Regularly required to talk and/or hear and see.

  Occasionally required to see color.
