The Classroom Substitute functions as an integral member of theChildrens Service Team, filling in when necessary to help nurture youngminds in a classroom setting.

The ideal candidate:

Is someone who can work and communicate effectively in a teamenvironment.Must maintain appropriate level of ethical behavior andconfidentiality regarding child/family information.Your role:

Contributes to ensuring the agencys full compliance with the HeadStart Performance Standards and Maine State Licensing Requirements.Provide classroom support to teachers working with children ages sixweeks to five year as needed, for 4-6 hours daily.Qualifications:

18 years of age.High School diploma, GED or HSE equivalent.Experience working with children ages six weeks to five years andspecial needsis preferred.Required to travel and have reliable transportation.Immunized against MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and TDaP (Tetanus,Diphtheria, Pertussis).Must be able to pass a background check, to include DHHS andfingerprinting.Apply now in our Career Center it only takes a fewminutes!https://bit.ly/yccacjobs
