Benefits:Flexible and supportive work environment Full-time, remote, in-person orhybrid work environments available Ideal wage, based on skills andexperience: \$20.72 to \$25.91, plus robust total rewards packageResponsibilities Investigate other insurance information to coordinatebenefits for claims processing Direct contact with members, CMS, orother health plans via telephone, letters, email, or portal submissionsto obtain/verify other insurance information Determine primacy based onthe other insurance obtained and confirm automatic filing order (AFO) isaccurate Update Health Link with the other insurance information andensure AFO is accurate Reconcile COB Smart, Discovery Health Partners,and Department of Health Services, to make sure other insurance andprimacy determination is accurate Responsible to resolve COB primacydisputes Research external inquiries/complaints from members, providers,vendors, other health plan, governmental entities, etc. for disputeresolution and send claims to be adjusted Process claims, pends, andreports, as assigned, in the claims processing system Obtain allinformation needed to adjudicate claims appropriately through internaland external verbal and written correspondence Responsible for adheringto the principles of continuous quality improvement to ensure that ourmembers receive the highest quality service Identify trends andopportunities for process improvement, including changes needed to theClaims Manual Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency Threeyears of medical claims processing experience working in an officesetting One year of claims processing experience at Quartz consistentlymeeting quality and quantity goals Applicants have the option to workremote, hybrid or full-time from our Madison, WI or Onalaska, WI office.Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidatesmust have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfullywork from home.
