JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: Green Bay, WI Shift: 1st Shift Work model:Hybrid Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Schneider is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Adjuster to apply companypolicies and procedures to aggressively investigate, analyze and resolveaccident, cargo and subrogation claims and incidents either directly orthrough the use of independent adjusters, when necessary. You willresearch, determine, and apply state laws, federal regulations, customercontracts, tariff and Carmack Amendment to maximize recovery & minimizeexposure utilizing a variety of software applications. About the role:Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate low exposureclaims made against and on behalf of Schneider, functioning as thesingle point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.Objectively review and evaluate claims for negligence, liabilityexposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud, compensability,preventability, DOT recordability, and other jurisdictional issues andplace or recommend an appropriate reserve for both Indemnity andExpense. Ensure that action plans and strategies are being executed thatwill affect the best possible financial, legal and overall claimsoutcome for the organization. Adequately and accurately document allpertinent claim activity while maintaining quality of file materials.
