Aon is looking for a Claims Supervisor . As part of an industry-leading team you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting our Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, a subsidiary of Aon Affinity. This position is located in Bellevue, WA and can have an in office, hybrid or 100% remote schedule.
The Claims Supervisor role is a position fully responsible for delivering Wow! experiences every day to pet parents by managing a team tasked with creating and improving claim programs and processes. Exceptional pet parent interactions set Healthy Paws apart from other pet insurance companies and the general insurance industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver WoW! experiences to our Pet Parents
Identify and implement process improvements
Hire, manage, and develop individuals
Evaluate team members’ performance and providing clear and kind performance feedback
Execute against defined strategic and operational team goals
Develop, maintain, and monitor team goals and performance
Meet or exceed team delivery targets
Prepare management reports and analysis
Collaborate with other leaders across the organization to resolve issues and ensure policies align with strategic goals
Ensure vendor teams deliver to set targets
Contribute to achieving the company’s strategic and operational objectives
Minimum Required Experience:
1+ years of people management experience or 2+ plus years pet claims processing experience
Be a licensed Claim Adjuster or have the experience to become a licensed Claim Adjuster within six months
Basic IT skills (databases, MS Excel, MS Office, etc.)
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Leadership and organizational skills
Experience with ERP or CRM systems a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, related field, or equivalent work experience

The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $70,000 annually + 5% target bonus annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
