Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Geographic Discipline Leader tojoin its Civil/Site Land Development team in Denver, CO.The Discipline Leader has overall accountability for the performance of theirdiscipline, directly supervises the leadership team within theirdiscipline, and provides leadership and strategic direction for growth.Communicates regularly with the Regional Manager and Division Directorregarding the performance and strategic development of the discipline as itrelates to the Company as a whole.Join our Civil/Site team and build your career alongside the best ourindustry has to offer. Provides leadership, strategic/managerial direction, and guidance for adiscipline to achieve established financial and growth goals for thedisciplineHas primary responsibility for overall productivity, profitability, clientsatisfaction, and quality of work throughout the discipline.Develops, executes, and leads discipline marketing and businessdevelopment strategies in collaboration with the Corporate Marketing andBusiness Development teams.Evaluate and monitor proposal development and contract execution throughoutthe discipline ensuring compliance with Company standard operating procedures.Evaluate and monitor billing and collections throughout the disciplineensuring compliance with Company standard operating procedures while meetingor exceeding discipline financial goals.Serves as a resource for the leadership team throughout the discipline.Consistently monitors the backlog of work and the sharing of resources withinthe discipline, maximizing staff utilization. Reviews staff utilizationregularly and promptly addresses staff not meeting utilization goals.Actively involved with business development and the cross-selling of allcompany services.Prepares for the future state of the discipline through succession planning ina timely mannerHolds people managers within the discipline accountable for fostering staffprofessional development, monitoring staffing/recruiting activity, andeffectively managing employee relations.Complies with and ensures others' compliance with all CED policies andprocedures, including but not limited to the Health and Safety Program.Collaborates with the Discipline Safety Coordinator on implementing andcomplying with the Health and Safety Program as it specifically relates totheir discipline.Travels (via car or airplane) regularly to the various regions and offices.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.20+ Years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in the industry.Professional licensure in area of expertise.Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees.Excellent communication skills.Strategic thinking.Effective delegation skills.Collaboration.Ability to hold others accountable.Salary range: $160K to $200K DOE.What We Offer
