LinQuest is seeking a civil and infrastructure engineer to support the HQ Space Training and Readiness Command S4/6 via telework and on-site at Patrick Space Force Base.
An active TS/SCI clearance is REQUIRED.
The HQ STARCOM mission is to increase USSF readiness to prevail in competition and conflict through education, training, doctrine, and test.
A strong candidate has deep experience with providing civil and infrastructure engineer program management support. In this position, you will:
Provide HQ STARCOM and associated Units basing and bed down process management support.
Manage all facets of the basing process for bedding down STARCOM units.
Provide analysis, requirements definition, expertise and advice for STARCOM organizations requesting beddown via the Strategic Basing process.
Maintain situational awareness of all Strategic Basing deliberations and actions at the Delta, FIELDCOM, USSF, HAF, OCSO, OSD and congressional levels.
Develop program strategies for use as the framework for all Strategic Basing actions within the timelines requested by the HAF and USSF staff.
Organize and schedule Working Group meetings with key organizations and stakeholders.
Prepare briefings and meeting minutes.
Staff, coordinate, and obtain approvals of new/changed policies and procedures
Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events
Required Skills/Experience:
An active TS/SCI clearance is required for this position
10+ years of civil and infrastructure engineer experience supporting DoD customers
Master’s Degree (12+ years relevant experience may substitute)
Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, STARCOM, Space Operations Command, or equivalent
Accustomed to professionally working with internal and external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.
Experience with providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations
Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
