　　Civil Engineer, P.E. (Site Development) - Lenexa, Kansas

　　The Civil/Site Development Group at GBA is looking for a civil engineerto join our team at our headquarters office in Lenexa, Kansas. TheCivil/Site team provides site design and construction documents for awide variety of commercial, industrial, municipal, and residentialdevelopments including mixed use, office, retail, multi and singlefamily residential, warehouse/distribution, medical, and recreationalfacilities.

　　Responsibilities

　　Lead design of site engineering plans to include site plan layouts,site grading, storm drainage, water, utility, street and sanitarysewer design, and erosion control plansPrepare calculations, design drawings, and specifications forcivil/site projectsAssist with the collection and analysis of field dataPrepare written studies and project design technical reportsAttend meetings with clients to deliver information and projectstatus updatesOversight of construction observation activitiesCoordinate with project team, utility providers, contractors, andpermitting authorities.Participate in project proposal assembly and presentationsOther duties as assignedQualifications

　　BS in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering degreeKansas Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtainlicensure.5+ years of related civil design experienceAdept at working on fast-paced projectsExperience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Word and Excel softwarerequiredExperience using HEC-HMS preferredPossess effective communication skills, both written and oralMust be able to work effectively both on a team and individuallyIts More Than Just A Job
