　　Civil Engineer, E.I.T. (Transportation)

　　The Transportation Department at GBA is looking for a civil engineer tojoin our team at our headquarters office in Lenexa, Kansas This positionwill work with a multi-disciplined team on roadway engineering design,supporting working in our Kansas, Missouri, and Texas offices.

　　Municipal/Highway Design Responsibilities:

　　Geometric Design and 3-D Modeling, including intersection andinterchange designEvaluation and design of multi-modal (automobile, pedestrian,bicycle, transit, freight) facilities and corridors, from theplanning stage to final design and bidding documentsRoadside Safety Evaluation and DesignBasic Hydrology & Hydraulic design, including cross-road structuresand enclosed storm sewersDevelopment of Construction Sequencing, Traffic Control Plans,Erosion Control Plans for ConstructionQuantity development and tabulation, Cost Estimation, StandardSpecification review and development, Quality Control/QualityAssurance ReviewsField VisitsUtility CoordinationRequirements:

　　Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering0-2 years of experienceExperience in using AutoCAD and/or MicroStationPossess effective communication skills both written and oralWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel,PowerPoint, etc.Experience using the following software is a plus: Synchro /SimTraffic, VISSIM, RSAP, HSM, AutoTurn, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Revu orAdobeIts More Than Just A Job
