Description

We are currently recruiting a proficient Citrix Engineer to join our dynamic IT department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Citrix solutions. The successful applicant will be tasked with overseeing the daily administration of the Citrix environment, providing technical support, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain Citrix infrastructure and applications.

Ensure the reliability and performance of Citrix systems and applications.

Identify and resolve any issues in the Citrix environment.

Provide technical assistance and support to other IT members and end-users.

Implement and monitor security measures for systems protection.

Conduct system performance analysis, tuning and capacity planning.

Perform software upgrades and patches as required.

Maintain and create detailed operational and technical procedures and documentation.

Work closely with other IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions into existing systems.

Assist with server hardware and software audits to ensure system integrity.

Participate in technical meetings and high-level team teaching and learning sessions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Citrix Engineer or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscaler.

Familiarity with TCP/IP, Citrix Gateway, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server.

Good knowledge of network protocols and directory services.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Professional Certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) or Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) would be an added advantage.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.

Availability for potential after-hours support or weekend maintenance tasks.
