  About the role

  We are looking for an induvial who wants to grow their knowledge and production experience. This person will help drive the culture on the production floor and gain buy-in for the implementation of change. Ownership of the processes rolled out is a key part of this role. This is a highly visible position not only at the plant but in the Kerry network. This role reports into the CI Manager and will be engaged in the growth of the CI culture.

  Key responsibilities

  Facilitate the implementation of the 1KPS (1 Kerry Plant System).

  Develop and rollout new CI concepts to the plant.

  Take ownership to maintain or enhance current CI processes (such as root cause analysis, layered confirmation audits, leader standard work, KPI boards, tier meetings, etc).

  Coach employees in problem solving methods and encourage learning & development (with tools such as RCA & MOC).

  Be able to facilitate trainings with cross-functional employees.

  Have enthusiasm for working with employees and assisting them where needed (incremental improvements).

  Assist with driving the culture to the next level (proactive/coaching maturity level).

  Work in collaboration with functional areas daily to support site-wide learning strategies.

  Be open to coaching, supporting, and driving ownership with colleagues.

  Be a resource for production and other supporting roles (primarily in the plant but also available for other Kerry sites).

  Identify opportunities for improvements and assist in implementation (with cross functional teams).

  Willingness to be hands-on by working with the production teams.

  Be able to work with a cross-functional teams & communicate with them at their level (plant floor to senior management).

  Be flexible in working off-hours to support all shifts occasionally.

  Willingness to learn & develop.

  Ability to grow within the business.

  Adherence to GMP & Food Safety policies.

  Qualifications and skills

  Bachelor's degree.

  2-4 years' experience in lean/CI field.

  2-4 years' experience in manufacturing (food industry is a bonus but not necessary).

  Bilingual is a plus.

  Ability to travel up to 10%.

  Ability to facilitate groups of people.

  Ability to coach/mentor/inspire.

  Be a leader & encourage others.

  Strong oral/written communication skills.

  Team player.
