　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　You will function under the supervision of the Director of Child Life Services and performs delegated functions

　　You will act as a professional member of the multidisciplinary health care team who provides for the developmental, psychosocial, emotional and cognitive needs of hospitalized children of all ages (neonate, infant, child and adolescent) and their families as they interact with the health care environment

　　You will plan, coordinate and conduct therapeutic learning and play experiences to promote patient's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development during hospitalization

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Candidates that have completed their internship hours and are eligible to test for their certification, or going through certification now, will be also strongly considered

　　Basic Cardiac Life Support required

　　Background and skills in interpersonal relationships and communication required.

　　Bachelors Degree in Child Life, Child Development, Early Childhood Education or the equivalent required.
