　　Job Summary

　　The Chief Therapist is responsible for the supervision of professionals involved with direct patient care in Radiation Oncology. Assist in coordination of communication and workflow between radiation therapists and other clinic staff. Supervises and delivers daily prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to radiation therapy patients under the guidance of the Radiation Oncologists and Physics and collaborates with other staff. This position is responsible for the daily technical and scheduling process and will be responsible for some direct patient care. Assists manager in overall management of the direct patient care and treatment area.

　　Education and/or Experience

　　Graduated from an Accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology required.

　　Graduated from an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology preferred.

　　At least 3 years’ experience as a practicing Radiation Therapist required.

　　Certification/Licensure/Registrations

　　R.T. (T) ARRT Registry required.

　　Work Schedule

　　Monday – Friday
