We are seekinga seasoned Chief Enterprise Architect (EA) to be an integral memberofour ITLeadership team.This role will provide strategic IT leadership to create, operationalize and enhance the Enterprisearchitecturefunction forBrandSafway’scomplex, global technology ecosystemwhilebalancingthe needs and viewpoints of the business stakeholders, product owners and development teams.
The ideal Chief Enterprise Architect candidate will help BrandSafway create and evolve the EA role to supportenterprise transformational and stabilization programs, educate and consult within the enterprise and providearchitecturestandards and guidelines for meeting future business needs. Thesuccessfulcandidate must have hands-on experience in proactively and holistically guidingan enterprisethrough transformation and optimization initiativesfrom an enterprise architecture perspective.
Responsibilities
Ownthecreation and evolution of the EA function to include enterpriseStrategy and Planning for global enterprise architecture -spanning all layers of technologyecosystem
Lead strategy to evolveourlegacy systemstowardmodern, next generation technologyi.e.,AI,RPA, andbalance the needs and viewpoints of the business stakeholders, product owners and development teams.
Understand,advocate, and deliver EA Strategy -establishSystems integrations approach,tools, and frameworks to deliverconsistency,scalability,supportabilityand re-use
Establish architecture standards,inpartnership with security, infrastructure & application architects as well as developmentteams
Develop integrations designframeworkfor major enterprise systemsend to end data thread, tofacilitateseamlesscross functional processes (Ex.Digital Products, Oracle, J&E, Workday,SFDC,DocuSignCLM & Legacy Applications)
Implement an enterprise-wideArchitecture Review Board for new and existing application changes – structure a change control process in concert with current ITSM processes;partner with Securityto align with standards, reviews and change managementprocesses andpractices
Analyzethe current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvementby designing and deliveringfor future state Data Management: DataWarehouse/Lake–Lakehouse(to enable reporting and analytics; design linkage to advanced analytics tools)
Simplification of existing landscape–partner with application andInfrastructureleaders toidentifyand reducetechnicaldebt
Coach, Consult andmentortheorganizationon modern architectureconcepts
Create a set ofStandard ArchitectureGuidancedocuments
Leverage EA tools/technology to govern and plan enterprise architecture changes (ex,Lean IX)
Qualifications
Degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study
10 to 15 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as technical cloud architecture, solution architecture, network management, application development, middleware design, information analysis, database management or operations management) in a heterogeneous environment” or five years of experience in solution architecture, business analysis or business strategic planning
Demonstratedtrack recordof leading high-performance teams toward the successful attainment of challenginggoals
Prior experience supporting Cloud Strategies, Cloud Migration Efforts (Azure/AWS), DevOps/SecOps and playing an influential role supporting DigitalTransformation
Experience architecting the integration of enterprise SaaS solutions with on prem, legacy tools andtechnology
In-depth understanding of IT Service Management, Monitoring Solutions, Data/Solution Solutions, Cybersecurity Operations & Compliance, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery, Identity, and Access Management.
Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)expertise
Knowledge of all components of a holistic EA
Subject matterexpertiseinData Architecture, ProductArchitecture
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork,facilitationandnegotiation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of and experience with management (theory and practice)
