Position Overview
The Business Analyst role will be a critical player in the Global Operations team for the Price Optimization division. Under the direction of the SVP, Global Operations for the division, this role will be responsible for engaging with operations teams, product managers, and project leads on significant projects such as deep dive workflow mapping and operational efficiency projects to manage the capacity for on-shore and off-shore teams.
This role will manage the details and document the actions for bodies of work aligned with the Global Operations team, driving the operational metrics and identifying issues or gaps along the way. It is expected that this role will contribute to creating valued business outcomes by preparing data and information for Zelis’ key stakeholders for best decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Manage operational efficiency and workflow projects under the direction of the SVP, Global Operations, with a focus on quantifying benefits, documenting actions and follow ups to drive progress.
Lead discussions as needed to facilitate project planning.
Assist in the development and monitoring of project metrics and adoption of operational best practices.
Engage proactively with stakeholders to prioritize and shape the work required for project success.
Responsible to learn the products in the division and the basic technology automation concepts in order to effectively provide recommendations on productivity measurements.
Partner to the business leaders in the building and understanding of operational workflows, review, revise, and maintain tracking documents and dashboards.
Required Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent years of work experience
3+ years of experience in corporate planning, PMO, analytics, operations, or finance
Project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Previous healthcare experience
Excellent follow-up and detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated PPT experience with strong writing, production, and technical editing skills (i.e. Visio)
Dashboard visualization, PowerBI experience
Strong analytical skills, including MS Excel, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities
Six Sigma / Lean Ops training or experience a plus
Experience in leading meetings, and/or presenting project or technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conference
