About Chemist/Lab Technician

　　Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree with experiencein one of the following:Chemistry, Agronomy, Animal Science, with laboratory experience. Personal computer experience, including Windows, is necessary. Must be able to operate most equipment in the lab.( e.g. pH and conductivity meters, spectrophotometers, analytical balances, Kjeldahl, dilutor/dispenser, etc.) Experience in Mars microwave digestion, Ankom and Leco operation, other advanced analytical procedures and analysis, an asset. Equipment troubleshooting. Preparation of, and standardization of reagents. Organizational skills: daily evaluation of workload and instrument scheduling. Room for advancement into agronomy consulting and/or management for a team player with a good work ethic, and management skills.
