　　We are seeking a Chemist for a growing chemical manufacturing company located in Pleasant Prairie, WI! The Chemist is responsible for performing routine jobs associated with the testing and approving of chemical and blends.

　　Shift : training on 1st shift 9a-5:30p for 2 months and then will transition to a 7:30p-4a M-F shift (will include $2 shift differential)

　　6 month contract-to-hire

　　Base Pay Range: $19-21/hr

　　Responsibilities:

　　Incoming, intermediate, and final chemical inspection of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.

　　Inspection of USP containers and tankers, when applicable.

　　Gauging, sampling, and documentation of incoming ethanol shipments, when applicable.

　　Documentation of test results, status and chemical nonconformances.

　　Maintenance of quality records.

　　Verification of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods versus established specifications.

　　Generation of certificates of analysis.

　　USP testing, documentation, routine monograph testing, when applicable.

　　Experience/Education:

　　A BS/BA degree in Chemistry or other related science field or an associate degree in chemistry or other related science field plus laboratory experience.

　　Knowledge of modern quality principles & modern industrial quality practices preferred.

　　Good written and verbal communication skills.

　　Must possess typing, filing and basic PC skills; Windows and Microsoft Office experience a plus.
