Job Title: Senior Analyst Supply Planning
Location: Columbus Ohio
Hours/Schedule: M-F, 8 am – 5 PM
Compensation: $33-38/ hourly (per hour)
Type: Contract 4-6 months.
Overview We are looking for someone who would enjoy working with high quality and well known cosmetic brands and personal care products. We need someone who is looking for a 4-6 months consulting project in the supply chain field. This position offers an opportunity to work with a top team and expand your presence in the consumer goods industry.
Responsibilities
Work closely with key suppliers / contract manufacturers (CMs) and visit the CMs and suppliers as necessary.
Contribute to system and process improvements for the on-going ERP implementation) and be asked to creatively problem solve any business issues.
Drive optimization for supply cycles, track, report and manage supply constraints and out of stock product scenarios
Partner with other supply chain teams to deliver on time and in full deliveries to customers across saleable products.
Partner with Demand Planning, Distribution and Logistics teams to identify and deliver operational efficiencies and streamline processes
Partner with suppliers / CMs and visit as needed to build and manage business relationships and enhance personal knowledge
Assist in maintaining accuracy and integrity across all aspects of product information, reporting and systems parameters
Lead / participate in key initiatives, Identify cost saving opportunities, risks, and liabilities; develop mitigation strategies wherever possible
Requirements:
3 to 5 years’ experience in production planning, and/or production either at the brand level or at a contract manufacturer
Beauty or CPG industry experience preferred
Effective persuasion and influencing skills, especially with senior leadership
APICS certification preferred but not required
Familiarity with enterprise planning systems and tools (i.e. IBM Cognos, SAP IBP, etc.
Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
