　　The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include:

　　Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills

　　Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

　　Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

　　Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members

　　Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

　　For this position, we strongly prefer at least 2 years Operating Room experience as an RN. Board running experience, preferred.

　　BLS (Basic Life Support)

　　RN (Registered Nurse)

　　ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

　　Required includes 2 years acute care experience or 2 years Interventional/Procedural

　　Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
