Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Charge RN to join our Med/Surg Unit and make a difference for our patients and our community. This unit is a 35-bed med-surg/telemetry unit with double and single occupancy. We focus on inpatient medical-surgical patients, including general surgery, acute care surgery, neurosurgery, urology, cardiac telemetry and post procedural care. We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. Every 3rd weekend rotation. Required Qualifications: *Degree in Nursing *Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota *CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers Preferred Qualifications: *BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire *Two (2) years experience in area of specialty preferred at 0.8 FTE, or above (minimum of 3328 hours).
