About Channel Sales Account Manager, BioProduction

  Job Description

  Position Summary:

  The Channel Sales Account Manager, BioProduction role will support the growth of the Channel Partners in North America, Mid-Atlantic Region, for the BioProduction Group. They will drive business performance, lead and develop Distribution Channels and Customer Relationships. This role will work cross functionally with the full Commercial team, Product Management, and Marketing teams to implement high impact field-based initiatives in support of the product category.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Primary BioProduction contact for Tier 1 & 2 Channels in specific Regions.Own all BPG Channel SKU buckets revenue, opportunities, quotes, rebates, SFDC, and support.Develop and drive strategic plans to optimize channel performance and improve revenue by working closely with commercial sales leaders to ensure an effective. commercial/channel interface required to achieve financial goals.Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and supervise pertinent financial highlights that will enable understanding of progress against strategic / business plan and budgets.Own regional quarterly and monthly business reviews.Apply effective sales strategies and techniques to proactively seek out sales opportunities.Lead high cadence of regional field engagement activities. This includes, but not limited to: trainings, workdays, seminars, demos, and shows).Establish and build relationships with Thermo Fisher Scientific collaborators and ensure strategic and operational alignment across other divisions.

  Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.5 + years work experience in sales or marketing.Must have the ability to develop knowledge of accounts and key customers and to interpret customer's needs and determine solutions.Proven excellence in business to business marketing.Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and sales data analysisShown success in forming cross functional relationships.Ability to travel 40 - 50% with in the territory.
