　　Emily Krous at Robert Half is working with a client to fill a CFO role within a Non-profit organization. This is a direct hire position in Sacramento. If qualified and interested, please apply!!

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　• Oversee accounting and financial systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy of records.

　　• Coordinate timely preparation of annual tax return(s).

　　• Actively participate in department and organization team meetings.

　　• Contribute to the development of organizational plans and programs as a strategic partner.

　　• Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to enhance organizational operation and effectiveness.

　　• Supervise the Finance team

　　• Oversee and assess all financial operations, providing regular updates to the senior leadership team and offering recommendations as necessary.

　　• Prepare and uphold accurate financial statements and reports adhering to nonprofit accounting principles

　　• Take charge of the annual audit process, liaising with the Audit Committee and external auditors to resolve issues and ensure compliance.

　　• Manage organizational cash flow, optimize banking relationships, and implement strategies to improve cash flow.

　　• Supervise financial and project/program accounting for grants, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely, accurate reporting.

　　• Assist Program Managers in developing budgets for grant applications.

　　• Reconcile bank and investment accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

　　Requirements

　　7+ years' management experience

　　Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or related field required.

　　Deep technical background in public accounting (GAAP)

　　10+ years' experience in accounting or finance
