Certified Surgical Technologist

　　Qualifications:

　　Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program

　　Current certification as Certified Surgical Technologist (or certification acquired within 6 months of hire date) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assistants

　　Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR in adult, child & infant is required upon hire and maintained

　　Schedule:

　　7a-730p, M-F rotating days; on call requirement (40hr per week)Job Responsibilities:

　　Assists with preparation, maintenance and after-care of supplies, equipment, and facilities with the OR

　　Places equipment and supplies in the operating room and arranges instruments, according to instructions

　　Demonstrates the ability to wash and sterilize equipment when necessary following manufacture's

　　Assists team members to place and position patients on the Operating Room table

　　Scrubs arms and hands appropriately and dons gown and gloves. Aids OR team members to don gown and gloves

　　Applies dressings post surgery
