JOB REQUIREMENTS: 4NW is a 31 bed mixed acuity care unit thatspecializes in the care of orthopedic and neurological patients. OurOrthopedic patients includejoint replacements,traumatic fractures andinjuries to the extremities, and back pain.4NW also cares for a varietyof both medical and surgical neurological patients including stroke,movement disorders, traumatic brain/spinalinjuries, and mixedneurosurgical patients. All nursing staff are NIHSS stroke certified andall caregivers receive specialized training to promote safe and earlymobilization of post-surgical joint patients. We are very proud torepresent two Centers of Excellence recognized by theJoint Commission.The Joint Replacement Center of Excellence for both Hip and Knee focuseson creating the best and safest patient experience for our jointreplacement patients. The Stroke Center of Excellence focuses on thebest care and treatment for our stroke patients. Hours: This 0.6 FTEcommits to 24 hours per week of 8 hour shifts (0700-1530). Every otherweekend rotation and holiday rotation. This is not a temporary orseasonal position.
