　　leading local healthcare organization, onsite in Columbia, MD. We are hiring for

　　multiple roles, ranging from entry-level to experienced.

　　JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Completes the patient intake process

　　Assists clinicians with daily care

　　Performs various medical tasks (vital signs) and documents information in the medical record.

　　Assists the clinician with administrative tasks including faxing and phoning in prescriptions, calling for reports and records, and collecting and relaying lab information.

　　Supervision is provided by clinicians, RN’s, and the clinical nursing manager.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience required.

　　Must complete MA program from accredited program/school.

　　Must be certified through one of the following:

　　American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

　　American Medical Technologists (AMT)

　　National Health Career Association (NHA)

　　National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

　　National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)

　　American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
