Position Summary:
Performs specialized duties relating to the care of and setting up of instruments and equipment used by the operating room, clinics and individualized hospital departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.Drag Edit Delete
Prepares equipment and specialty trays for processing and sterilization as assigned. Including all documentation requires for sterilization records.Drag Edit Delete
Assesses equipment functioning and performance, notifies appropriate person of any defects/damage, and prepares equipment and instruments which needs to be sent out for repair.Drag Edit Delete
Orders, receives, completes, and distributes case carts for individual cases.Drag Edit Delete
Records required information for compliance. Monitors warmers, freezer, and refrigerator temperatures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentAssociate's degree (Preferred)*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.Drag Edit Delete

Minimum Work Experience1 year in central supply experience (Preferred)
