Central Supply Technician I is an entry level position within the Central Sterile Processing department. Under the direct supervision of certified individuals, the following approved infection control, performs cleaning, decontamination, assembly, wrapping or containerization, quality assurance, and distribution of reusable instrument trays and equipment throughout the hospital and health centers. A Central Supply Technician I is to provide professional, calm but immediate responses to all customers and staffing within Glens Falls Hospital and ancillary staff. High School Diploma or GED required Preferred 1 year in of experience in a healthcare setting Must obtain Certification as a technician (CSPDT or CRCST) through CBSPD or IAHCSMM after one year of employment Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $16.50 to $24.00 per hour.
