Summary
The CDP Product Principal is our technical SME of the CDP that also has broad knowledge of marketing tool automation and, more specifically, CDPs. They assist the CDP Technical Product Lead with hands-on product enablement while partnering with the CDP Product Director on strategic initiatives.
While this resource will, at times, be hands-on with the CDP, they will also be focused on enabling strategic initiatives in the CDP in partnership with the Product Director as well as unblocking other teams where the Technical Product Lead might not be able to do so.

Product Adoption and Evangelization
Demonstrate the power of the CDP to leadership and those interested in learning more about it in order to facilitate broader adoption.
Leading the adoption across the enterprise of new CDP features, e.g.:
Real Time Decisions
New channels
CDP Product Roadmap and Strategy
Define and influence the CDP roadmap with the CDP Product Director.
Help take into account both user feedback and product capabilities that are not yet being taken advantage of.
Self-service Enablement
Back up, assist, and serve as an escalation point for self-service enablement with the CDP Technical Product Lead.
Engage with teams seeking to operate in the CDP, explaining its capabilities and how teams can coordinate to use the CDP to its fullest extent.
Relevant Skillset
At least 5 years of prior, hands-on experience with a Customer Data Platform required.
Redpoint Global's rgOne platform is particularly sought, but any prior hands-on CDP experience is relevant.
Broad knowledge of marketing technology required , particular those used to create multi-channel marketing campaigns.
This could include, but is not limited to, tools such as Adobe Campaign, Adobe Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Klaviyo, and Cheetah Digital.
Segmentation proficiency required .
You need to have demonstrated experience in audience segmentation based on customer behavior, demographics, preferences, and other groupings.
Journey orchestration experience required .
Includes setting up end-to-end recurring journeys with optimization mechanisms like choosing best outreach channel over a period of time based on previous engagement, setting up A/B tests etc.
You should be able to speak to how the marketing technologies you've used are able to power personalized experiences or where they've perhaps fallen short in doing so.
You should be familiar , comfortable , and passionate about data, including:
Familiarity with data mapping, transformation and ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL is required: you don't need to be able to write robust SQL from scratch, but you need to be able to interpret statements to assist in troubleshooting.
Experience with data governance principles required.
Understanding of database structures.
Experience designing and configuring tests to measure incremental performance as well as configuring metadata to enable their measurement
How data can be used to power personalized experiences.
Beyond being a hands-on-keyboard rockstar, you need to be comfortable in continuous conversation with your business partners to understand requirements and requirement changes, while also informing the business strategy based on what's possible in the CDP
To this end, you need to have a positive outlook and collaborative nature, while caring about the nitty gritty details.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
