JOB PURPOSE
CD Operations is responsible for a smooth and cost-effective operation between the company, customers, and specific third parties. The key challenge of the role is to develop consistency and coherence in the day-today operation of the CD organisation, thus enabling account, field and customer marketing teams to focus on core selling roles
KEY INTERACTIONS
The Assistant CD Ops Manager role will interface with the following stakeholders:
Channels & Categories Development
Account Management
Finance
Customer Service
Marketing
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Alignment with Customer Development & Brand Strategy by being the Business Analyst of the business:-
Supports setting the process and contribute to the definition of:
Customer Development Analysis
Customer Value Assessment
Trade Terms Structure (Rebates, promotions analysis)
Coordinate Pricing
Business processes & operating guidelines
Ensure smooth processes are in place to deliver:
CD input into S&OP
Annual negotiation coordination
Set up and structure all CD business meetings:
Sales Force Incentives
Participate in CD overheads management
Manage CD Events out of MD Office together with Strategic Assistant
Methods, tools, systems & data supporting Instore Executions
Maintain and implement supporting tools (legacy CD IT tools as well as new development
Sales reporting model
EFOS data
Support Customer Service
LeverEgde or TT System
Provide all CD information to Field Sales, other CD roles and other departments
Communication, information, training, Fleet Management
Manage and facilitate internal and external CD communications
Identify needs and roll out training programs
Manage the Unilever Sales Fleet (Fuel, Trackers,)
3rd party management & in-store execution
Manage contracts and execution of merchandising agencies providing in store together with CCD/CSP team
Experiences & Qualifications
Essential:
Bcom Honours Markerting , Business Management
Minimum of two to three years working experience within the CD function
Strong experience in designing and managing processes
Business planning experience
Project management experience
Desirable:
Customer Facing Experience
