Summary You will serve as a CBRNE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the ?Station Airfield Operation Department ofMARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI . Responsibilities You will assist the Fire Chief or higher-level supervisor with the establishment of long-term objectives; set priorities, determines manning and resource requirements and establishes the operational guidance for CBRNE installation protection efforts. You will resolve actual and potential operational problems; reviews guidance from higher headquarters and formulates processes and monitors the implementation of the change. You will monitor, maintains and provides technical assistance to installations and organizations to maintain CBRNE first responder equipment and CBRNE emergency responder equipment. You will supplement HAZMAT awareness, operations, and technician training for first responders in conjunction with the Fire and Emergency services train-the trainer program. You will maintain the installation perimeter detection and monitoring equipment and decision management software. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing mission analysis, planning, review and evaluation of installation CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High Yield Explosive); establishing long term goals for installation protection efforts; maintains installation equipment; and formulating CBRNE training plans.
