Alongside a manager who will help coordinate and lead operations, you?ll help oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and help where needed. 　　Job Responsibilities

　　Serve as the primary on-site manager for multiple events, including planning, executing and ensuring high quality products and service events, as well as supervising staff

　　Maintain consistent service standards for all assigned events

　　Assists with server training as needed

　　Responsible for communicating all necessary billing information to the catering office in a timely fashion

　　Handle all pre-event and post-event paperwork needed for events

　　Enforce all safety regulations in accordance with Aramark, University of Delaware, and Board of Health

　　Supervise sanitation and organization of all catering areas

　　Monitor levels of china, glassware, silver and serving equipment throughout all catering areas

　　Maintain inventory for all areas including the house, which should be done semi-annually

　　Keeps in close contact with the culinary team to ensure proper production and portioning for assigned events

　　Assist other team members as needed

　　All other duties as assigned by Assistant Catering Director or DOC

　　Qualifications

　　Supervisory Experience preferred

　　Must be able to lift, push or pull 50lbs

　　Creative, energetic, outgoing personality with organization skills and attention to detail

　　Must have practical knowledge of food preparation and social customs of etiquette

　　Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

　　Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including some holidays, evenings and weekends

　　Maintains current ServSafe and TIP?s certification
