Accountant

　　$27 - $29/hour

　　Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional overtime as needed

　　Responsibilities will include:

　　Preparation of financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, budgets, and regulatory reports.

　　Provide fiscal oversight of assigned programs by monitoring budget and fiscal compliance using judgement, proactivity, and resourcefulness.

　　Prepare monthly & annual statistical reports

　　Prepare audit work papers & interact with external audit team on items related to areas of responsibility

　　Assist CFO with GL maintenance, financial reporting, journal entries & internal control process

　　Work with grants

　　Assist with assigning account classifications of all expenditures

　　Act as backup for payroll processing

　　Maintain fixed assets subsidiary ledger

　　Reconcile fixed asset accounts monthly

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

　　Knowledge of grant accounting & payroll preferred

　　Extensive Excel and analytical skills

　　Familiar with automated accounting systems & ability to learn new software

　　Strong problem solving and decision making skills; detail oriented & organized

　　Able to analyze & compute and deal with stressful situations

　　Excellent communication skills
