Overview
This is a client-facing role, you will be at the client 4-5 days a week (Sam’s Club), providing management and coordination of Space Planning projects.
You will be responsible for the analysis, creation and delivery of quality planograms by managing all activities for planogram development including buyer meetings, assortment recommendations, space 2 sales recommendations, and all space planning initiatives .
Responsibilities
Provide space management and section merchandising on the assigned categories at the assigned customers. Including the analysis of financial data and the ability to provide space related insights at both the account and market level.
System Tools (experience preferred): JDA/Blue Yonder or Shelf IQ or Apollo and Madrid
Participate in the development and maintenance of client-specific reporting that measures performance against strategies and objectives .
Developing and ensuring that Planograms (POGs) meet both the Customer’s and Client’s visual standards.
Attend meetings with clients to discuss client needs and upcoming projects.
Maintain and update all P lanograms for assigned categories and/or sections for assigned customers.
Responsible for quality control of data sources and ensuring accuracy of deliverables , often requiring engagement with other BI associates and data/tool vendors.
Qualifications
Proficient in Blue Yonder/JDA or other space planning software, as well as Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
2+ years’ experience with a Tier 1 CPG retailer’s planogram development process drawing planograms and working through the entire line review process .
Previous experience with POS sales data, IRI/Nielsen, Spectra and Market Track is preferred, but not required.
College degree or work experience equivalent and 5 – 7 years of relative experience in a Space Management related position or Space technology-based solution .
3+ years in Consumer Package Goods ( CPG ) industry and Consumer analytics .
